Easy to Fold
The simplest umbrella strollers collapse like an umbrella and weigh a lot less than other kinds of strollers. This makes them easy to lift, carry and store when you don't want or can't bring your large stroller due to some reason (traveling on an airplane, traveling in an unfamiliar city, or visiting grandma). These strollers are often less well-equipped than fully-featured models, but should still provide the basic features, such as storage and a sun canopy.

This type of stroller is replacing the traditional double umbrella stroller. It's probably the best option if you are searching for a light and multi-purpose stroller.
Most double umbrella strollers we recommend are side-by-side models. The exception is the Kinderwagon Hop, a tandem umbrella stroller that's lightweight and easy to fold (though it's also a bit small in width). This is a great option when you're looking for a basic, cheap double umbrella stroller that you can easily put in your trunk for quick trips. It even has two storage bags hanging from the sides of each seat, as well as cup holders for the parents. It's so basic, it might not be able to get your kids through the airport without causing a fuss. However, it will make your journey more comfortable.
Comfortable Seats

Like any umbrella stroller, it must be used with care to ensure that fingers - whether your own or that of a child get stuck in the hinges of the frame that fold and mechanisms.
In most double umbrella strollers they have seats that are side-by-side. However there are models that feature inline seating (one seat in front of the other). Inline models are easier to maneuver through doorways than side-by-side models, however they usually have a difference between seating features that could make your kids argue over who has the better seat.
